Job summary

St Nicolas CofE Academy in Coventry area is seeking a motivated SEN teaching assistant to support children with their learning and personal care needs. The role involves implementing bespoke interventions and helping integrate nurture provision with mainstream classroom activities.

Applicants should have NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification and experience of working with children with SEN. All posts follow safeguarding procedures including enhanced DBS checks and other vetting.

Qualifications

• Able to support personal care and toileting needs.

Responsibilities

• Support children with their learning and classroom activities.
• Assist with personal care and toileting needs as required.
• Support the lead teacher to implement bespoke interventions.
• Help facilitate integration between nurture provision and mainstream activities.
