Teach Plus are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Greenford, Ealing, starting ASAP.

This full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position is ideal for a passionate education professional who is committed to supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and helping pupils achieve their full academic, social and emotional potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months UK experience working with children.
• Experience as SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
• Strong SEND knowledge relevant to the role.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND on a one-to-one and small-group basis, adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
• Assist class teachers with planning and delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities
• Develop positive relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence, independence and participation in the classroom
• Implement appropriate strategies to support pupils with their social, emotional and behavioural development
• Monitor pupil progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and the wider support team
• Promote a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment for all pupils

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers and the wider support team to provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support.
