Teach Plus Limited in Brent is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school from September 2026 to support KS1 pupils with ASD and ADHD. You will work with the class teacher and SENCO to provide personalised support to help pupils access learning in a structured environment, developing their communication, independence and behaviour.

This role requires a DBS on Update Service and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience working in a similar SEN Teaching Assistant role within the UK education sector is essential
  • Previous experience supporting pupils with ASD and ADHD is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service is essential
  • Right to work in the UK

Salary: £108 - £110 per day (depending on experience)

About the role and school

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Brent from September 2026.This SEN Teaching Assistant role will involve supporting a small group of KS1 pupils with additional needs, including Autism (ASD) and ADHD.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide consistent, personalised support and help pupils access learning in a positive and structured environment.You will play an important role in supporting pupils' communication, behaviour, confidence and independence.

This SEN Teaching Assistant position would suit someone with relevant experience working in a similar role within the UK education sector who is confident supporting pupils with ASD and ADHD.
