Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a dedicated SEN Provision Teaching Assistant to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis in our Wolverhampton schools. You will help the pupil access learning, build confidence, and thrive within a SEND provision environment.

Ideal applicants have experience with children, understanding of SEN, and a patient, empathetic approach. Level 2/3 TA qualifications are desirable but not essential; we offer ongoing training and a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children (ideally in a school setting).
• Understanding of supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or additional needs.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• A positive and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.

SEN Provision Teaching Assistant - Wolverhampton

Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 121 Teaching Assistants to join our Aspire Team and work in one of our schools in Wolverhampton. This role involves providing tailored support to a pupil on a one-to-one basis, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and thrive within the school environment in their SEND Provision.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs, both in and out of the classroom.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities.
• Help to manage behaviour in a positive and consistent way.
• Support the pupil's social and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals.

Requirements
