Aspire People Limited is seeking a SEN Provision Teaching Assistant to join our team in Walsall. This role involves providing 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs and helping them access learning within the school environment.

You will assist in delivering engaging activities, support behaviour management, and contribute to the pupil's social and emotional development, working closely with teachers and SEN staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (ideally in a school setting).
• Understanding of supporting pupils with SEN/additional needs.
• Patience, empathy and excellent communication skills.

SEN Provision Teaching Assistant - Walsall

Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 121 Teaching Assistants to join our Aspire Team and work in one of our schools in Walsall. This role involves providing tailored support to a pupil on a one-to-one basis, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and thrive within the school environment in their SEND Provision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs, both in and out of the classroom.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities.
• Help to manage behaviour in a positive and consistent way.
• Support the pupil's social and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children (ideally in a school setting).
• Understanding of supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or additional needs.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• A positive and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential.
