Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a dedicated SEN Provision Teaching Assistant to join a Wolverhampton school. This 1:1 role supports a pupil with additional needs, helping access learning and build confidence in a caring environment.

The successful candidate will have experience with children, an understanding of SEN, patience, empathy and strong communication. Level 2/3 TA qualifications are desirable but not essential, with ongoing training available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children (ideally in a school setting).
• Understanding of supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or additional needs.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• A positive and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 121 Teaching Assistants to join our Aspire Team and work in one of our schools in Wolverhampton. This role involves providing tailored support to a pupil on a one-to-one basis, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and thrive within the school environment in their SEND Provision.

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs, both in and out of the classroom.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities.
