Job summary

Aspire People Limited is recruiting for SEN Provision Teaching Assistant roles in Wolverhampton to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis within a school setting.

You will assist in learning activities, support social and emotional development, and work closely with teachers and SEN staff to promote inclusive education. Ongoing training and development are offered, with a £250 referral bonus for successful recommendations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with children in a school setting.

SEN Provision Teaching Assistant - Wolverhampton

Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives?
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 121 Teaching Assistants to join our Aspire Team and work in one of our schools in Wolverhampton. This role involves providing tailored support to a pupil on a one-to-one basis, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and thrive within the school environment in their SEND Provision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs, both in and out of the classroom.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities.
• Help to manage behaviour in a positive and consistent way.
• Support the pupil's social and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children (ideally in a school setting).
• Understanding of supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or additional needs.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• A positive and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential.
