Aspire People Limited is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant for a specialist education setting in Meldreth. You will support pupils with a range of needs, working closely with teachers to create engaging learning experiences.

The role offers a temp-to-perm path, training opportunities including SEN CPD, and a welcoming leadership team. Ideal for patient, flexible helpers committed to pupil progress.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in educational or care settings.
• Understanding of SEN including ASD, ADHD and SEMH.
• GCSE English and Maths (4/C or above) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD/ADHD and SEMH.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, personalised activities.
• Encourage confidence, independence and positive social skills in pupils.
• Support behaviour management per school policies and care plans.
• Provide support during lessons, breaktimes and activities.
• Prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
• Monitor and record pupils' progress and achievements.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and external professionals.
