Aspire People are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support students with SEN in Northamptonshire. You will assist with classroom management, small groups, personal care where required, and help foster social integration under teacher supervision.

The role offers diverse placements—permanent, long-term, short-term and day-to-day—plus competitive pay (£90-£100 per day) and access to CPD and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, ideally in SEN or educational settings.
• Compassionate, patient and flexible approach.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Commitment to supporting children with special educational needs; Level 2/3 TA qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Supporting individual students or small groups with their learning.
• Assisting with personal care or physical needs where required.
• Encouraging social integration and positive relationships among students.
• Assisting teachers with lesson planning and classroom activities.
• Providing emotional and behavioural support to students when needed.
