Job summary

Senploy is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs in a specialist school in Liverpool. The role involves working in small classes, promoting safety, structure and positive learning, and assisting with transport transitions at the start and end of the day.

You will collaborate with teachers and support staff, focusing on SEMH, autism and ADHD needs, using effective behaviour management and calm, patient communication to help pupils develop

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, autism or ADHD.
• Patient, calm and consistent approach.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Reliable, proactive and committed to supporting pupils with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in small classes with a range of needs.
• Assist with safe transitions to and from transport at start and end of day.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to maintain a safe, structured learning environment.
