Job summary

Educato Limited is seeking an SEN Learning Support Assistant for a specialist school in Liverpool. You will support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning and develop confidence.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 2:30pm, with a Temp-to-Perm path and potential permanent contract after 12 weeks. You will work with teachers and staff to ensure safe, supportive learning throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
• Understanding of autism, ADHD, SEMH or challenging behaviour.
• Calm, patient and supportive approach.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable and positive attitude with a genuine interest in helping pupils succeed.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in small classes, helping them access learning and participate.
• Help manage behaviour and build pupil confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to provide consistent support.
• Assist pupils with transport, helping them on and off buses at start/end of day.
