Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a compassionate Cover Teaching Assistant to join our SEN school team in Billingshurst. You will support pupils academically, emotionally and socially, helping create a safe, inclusive environment where every learner can thrive.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 months experience with students who have special educational needs, GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above), and an Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• GCSE English and Maths Grade 4/C or above.
• Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to undergo one.
• 3–6 months of proven experience working with students with special educational needs.

We're looking for a compassionate, adaptable, and enthusiastic Cover Teaching Assistant to join our close-knit SEN school team in Billingshurst.

In this role, no two days are the same. Working alongside our dedicated teachers, you'll help create a safe, inclusive environment where every student feels supported - academically, emotionally, and socially.

Requirements:

Have full eligibility to work in the UK -

Drivers preferred due to remote location.

Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths GCSE.

Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willing to undergo one.

3-6 months of proven experience working alongside students with special educational needs.
