Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a compassionate Cover Teaching Assistant to join a close-knit SEN school in Billingshurst. You’ll work alongside dedicated teachers to support pupils academically, emotionally, and socially, in a flexible ad-hoc role that fits around your schedule.

Working hours are 9:00 to 15:30. You must have full eligibility to work in the UK, DBS on update service (or willing to obtain one), and 3–6 months of experience with SEND.

Qualifications

• Have full eligibility to work in the UK.

• Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willing to undergo one.
• 3-6 months of proven experience working with students with SEN.
• Drivers preferred due to remote location.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers to create a safe, inclusive learning environment for pupils with SEN.
• Assist with classroom activities and behaviour management as needed.
• Support students academically, emotionally, and socially throughout the day.
