Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a compassionate, adaptable Cover Teaching Assistant to join a SEN school near Billingshurst. You will support teachers, assist with inclusive activities, and help create a safe, positive learning environment for pupils with diverse needs.

This ad hoc role runs roughly 9:00 to 15:30, requiring eligibility to work in the UK. DBS update service preferred; sponsorship is not offered. UK driver’s license is beneficial for remote location access.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of proven experience working with students with special educational needs.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering inclusive lessons in a SEN setting.

• Assist with transitions and behaviour management as part of a close-knit team.

Requirements:

3-6 months of proven experience working alongside students with special educational needs.
