Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant for a primary academy in Birmingham. The role is full-time, term-time only, with a daily rate between £92.56 and £110.

You will support pupils with various needs, work with the SENCO and class teacher, and help create an inclusive, positive learning environment. The school is a large primary with around 700 pupils, rated Good by Ofsted, and values inclusion, wellbeing and high expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
• Patient, caring and adaptable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Committed to helping every child reach their potential.
• Team player with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.
• Support children with diverse needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH.
