Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team in the UK on temporary basis to cover short-term absences and support students and teachers.

You will work with classroom teachers to provide essential support across various age groups and abilities, including SEN support. Roles are available on both full-time and part-time contracts, with a collaborative, inclusive environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar support role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and rapport-building with students, teachers, and parents.
• Flexibility to work across different year groups and classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers with the delivery of lessons and activities, including setting up resources and materials.
• Provide one‑on‑one or small group support to students who may require additional assistance with their learning.
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations.
• Help to manage classroom behavior and promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and other support professionals to ensure the smooth running of the classroom.
