Job summary

The Holme Church of England Primary School is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant with Medical Responsibilities to support a pupil with significant needs. You will provide essential medical care as part of an inclusive, caring school community and help pupils to feel safe, valued and able to thrive.

You will work with teachers to raise attainment, build strong relationships with families and professionals, and champion safeguarding and wellbeing across the school.

Qualifications

• GCSEs English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above).
• Experience with children or young people in education.
• Calm, resilient and enthusiastic with excellent communication.
• Willingness to undertake paediatric first aid training.
• Commitment to equality, safeguarding and helping every child reach their potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide vital medical support (including paediatric care).
