This SEN Teaching Assistant role is focused on helping pupils overcome barriers to learning while remaining part of the wider classroom environment. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will ideally have previous experience in a primary school, special educational setting, care environment or another role supporting children with additional needs.
You will need to be patient, consistent and confident in adapting your approach according to the individual child.
