You will work on a one-to-one basis or with small groups, supporting communication, confidence and emotional regulation, and collaborating closely with the class teacher and SENCo to tailor approaches to each child’s needs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with additional needs in mainstream settings.
• Patience, consistency and confidence in adapting approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs.
• Work on a one-to-one and small group basis.
• Help pupils access classroom activities and the wider curriculum.
• Encourage communication, confidence and independence.
• Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCo.
