Job summary

Long Term Futures Ltd is seeking a resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a busy classroom on a full-time, long-term temporary basis in Nottingham. The role involves supporting the class teacher, delivering targeted interventions for pupils with SEND and SEMH, and providing 1:1 and small-group support across KS1–KS2.

Start ASAP and a DBS check are required. You will help pupils stay safe, follow the curriculum, and adapt activities to meet diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering targeted interventions to students with SEN (ASD and other needs).
• Strong behaviour management and ability to build rapport with students across year groups.
• Ability to adapt activities to meet diverse needs of children.

Responsibilities

• Support class teacher with running the class.
• Provide targeted interventions to students with SEN.
• Support students from Year 1-6 in their curriculum.
• Provide 1:1 support and small group work.
• Ensure pupils are safe and secure at all times.
