Job summary

Acre Heads Primary School in Hull is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to join our SEN provision. You will provide tailored support to pupils, helping them access learning and develop confidence in an inclusive setting.

Working with teaching staff, you will adapt activities, support wellbeing and progression, prepare learning materials, and contribute to behaviour guidance. This is a term-time, pro-rata, part-time role with a DBS check.

Qualifications

• Provide tailored support to children with additional needs.
• Help access learning and develop confidence in an inclusive setting.
• Work with teaching staff to adapt tasks and support pupil progress.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned learning activities and adjust tasks to meet individual needs.
• Offer emotional and social support to pupils to aid wellbeing and engagement.
• Assist with preparation of learning materials and resources.
• Support classroom behaviour and contribute to positive behaviour strategies.
• Provide feedback on pupil progress to teaching staff.
