Job summary

Park Brow Primary School in Wakefield is seeking two Level 2 Teaching Assistants with SEN responsibilities to provide 1-1 support for pupils, including those with ADHD, to help develop independence and communication.

The roles are 27.5 hours per week, 46 weeks per year, term-time; salary is within Pay Band D / SCP 5–6. The appointment is subject to safeguarding checks and eligibility to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Must be suitably qualified and have experience of working with pupils who have ADHD.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-1 support for a pupil with an EHCP, helping to develop independence and communication interaction.
• Work as part of a class team to support pupils during lessons and activities.
