About this role

We are seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant for KS1 through KS2 who has experience supporting students with additional needs within the classroom. Your role will involve working closely with the class teacher to ensure students receive the necessary support, promote independence, and encourage social inclusion. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating and motivating learning environment, collaborating with a supportive department that values teamwork and shared planning to ensure consistency and best practices across classrooms.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with additional needs, confidence in teaching and planning, familiarity with the current curriculum, and the ability to implement behavioural and emotional management strategies. Candidates must also be committed to safeguarding and willing to undergo all necessary background checks, including an enhanced Child Workforce DBS check.
