Job summary

Clarence Recruitment Limited is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Leicester. You will provide one-to-one and small group support to students with ASC, ADHD, dyslexia, and other needs, helping them access learning and progress.

The role offers immediate start, daily pay rates (£95-£110), and flexible full- or part-time opportunities within a nurturing school community that prioritises safeguarding and student wellbeing.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or equivalent.
• Experience supporting students with SEN at KS3/KS4.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEN.
• Deliver tailored activities aligned with individual education plans.
• Support emotional, social, and behavioural development.
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to adapt resources.
• Monitor progress and document observations.
• Support during breaks and school trips.
