Job summary

Veritas Education are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant for an outstanding SEN School in the Preston/ Longridge area. The role offers £14.24 per hour, 8:30am-3:30pm, and a focus on supporting pupils with special educational needs.

You will provide one-to-one or small group support, foster a positive classroom atmosphere and work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to monitor progress and promote inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of students.
• Monitor and track the progress of students, providing feedback to the teaching staff.
• Be confident with behaviour management and de-escalation strategies.
• Have good knowledge of the National Curriculum to support students with their learning.
• An optimistic outlook and determination to make a difference to children's education.
