Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant in Preston to support pupils with a range of additional needs. The role involves 1:1, small-group, and classroom assistance, following EHCPs and delivering targeted interventions to remove barriers to learning.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Experience in care, support work, youth work, coaching, or mentoring also welcomed.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with pupils with various additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, MLD/SLD, and SEMH.
• Provide 1:1, small-group, and classroom support.
• Follow EHCPs, deliver targeted interventions, and help remove barriers to learning.
• Build positive relationships to foster confidence, independence and engagement.
