Job summary

Academics are seeking dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants (TAs) and Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support in primary schools in Worksop with SEN needs. Roles available on a longer-term basis, both full-time and part-time, starting after half term.

You will work with children with special educational needs, supporting learning, social and emotional development in a nurturing environment. Prior experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is desirable, especially with SEND.
• A compassionate and positive approach to working with children.
• Excellent communication and rapport-building with children and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Assist students with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis.
• Promote an inclusive environment where all students feel confident and supported.
• Help children develop social and emotional skills.
