Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary schools in the L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, including Birley Primary Academy, Birley Spa Primary Academy, Rainbow Forge Primary Academy, Charnock Hall Primary Academy, and Sir Edmund Hillary Academy.

We welcome experienced support workers, care workers, or individuals passionate about helping children with SEND to apply. You must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• Have experience supporting children with SEND or additional learning needs.
• Patience, resilience and a positive attitude essential.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND across primary settings, including mainstream and specialist contexts.
• Assist teachers with learning activities and behaviour management as needed.

• Have experience supporting children with SEND or additional learning needs
• Are passionate about helping children achieve their full potential
• Demonstrate patience, resilience, and a positive attitude
• Have strong communication and behaviour management skills

This role may involve supporting pupils with additional needs, EHCPs, autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, and challenging behaviour across mainstream and specialist settings.

To be eligible, you must:

• Have the right to work in the UK
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
• Provide two professional references covering the last 24 months
