Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a college setting in Romford. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEN, helping develop independence, communication and learning skills while safeguarding wellbeing.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with ASAP start. You will work closely with teaching staff and specialists to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with SEN students is essential.
• Experience supporting students with complex needs is desirable.
• Valid Hoisting Certificate is essential.
• Must hold a DBS Update Service for Child and Adult.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, caring and supportive approach.
• Ability to work confidently as part of a wider SEN team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support.
