Job summary

St Matthew’s Primary School are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a focus on supporting children with behavioral and emotional needs. The role is within a large, growing school with a SENCO-led team and a strong emphasis on wellbeing and professional development.

The successful candidate will be a proactive team player, capable of making a demonstrable impact, and have experience of working with pupils with high levels of SEN.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with behavioral and emotional needs in a school setting.
• Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and SEN procedures.
• Ability to contribute to planning and assessment for SEN pupils.
