Job summary

Remedy Education are working with a leading SEN school in East London to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. This role supports students with severe autism and complex needs, providing one-to-one and small-group assistance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with SEN, be active and patient, and able to work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students with severe autism and complex needs
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support
• Helping students develop their communication, social and life skills
• Supporting with sensory activities and creative learning
• Managing challenging behaviour calmly and confidently
• Providing personal care when required
• Working closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff
