Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant in Caterham, Surrey, to support pupils with Special Educational Needs. The role involves one-to-one and small group support, assisting inclusive and differentiated lessons, and working with teaching staff, SENCOs and external professionals to implement individual learning plans.

We offer competitive daily pay of £92.63 - £100 per day, full-time, term-time only, with ongoing training and a supportive school environment to help

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN or educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
• Support students with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive, and differentiated lessons.
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence both inside and outside the classroom.
• Work with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to support learning plans.
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
