GSL Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Broughton. You will support children and young people with a range of SEN and SEMH needs, helping them access learning, participate in activities, and build confidence in a nurturing classroom environment.

The role is full-time with the potential to progress into a permanent position. Candidates should be patient, resilient and capable of forming strong relationships with students and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEN or SEMH is desirable.
• Possess safeguarding awareness and DBS checks would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people with SEN/SEMH in a specialist school.
• Assist learning activities and help students participate in class.
• Contribute to positive behaviour support and safeguarding routines.
