Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd. is recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant in the Slough area to support pupils with additional needs. The role involves 1:1 and small group support, assisting with lesson delivery, and implementing IEPs to promote learning, wellbeing, and development.

Candidates with care, support, or youth work backgrounds are invited to apply. A DBS Update Service is desirable, and the position requires full-time commitment in the Slough/Uxbridge area.

Qualifications

• Experience in care, support, or residential settings.
• Ability to implement IEPs and behaviour strategies.
• Experience working with pupils with SEN (ASD/ADHD/SEMH).
• Willingness to work full-time in the Slough/Uxbridge area.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
• Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Assist the class teacher in delivering adapted and engaging lessons
• Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
• Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment
• Support personal care needs where required (if applicable)
• Encourage independence, resilience, and confidence in pupils
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and wider support staff
