Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in Slough. The role focuses on 1:1 and small-group assistance, helping with learning, development and emotional wellbeing within a welcoming school environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with SEN, strong communication skills and a patient, supportive approach. A TA/SEN qualification is desirable but not essential; long-term opportunity with potential for permanent

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Strong understanding of SEN and additional learning needs.
• Patient, caring and supportive approach.
• Confident in managing challenging behaviour.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Teaching Assistant/SEN qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities
