Smile Education are proud to be supporting a wonderful SEND Secondary School within Wolverhampton, in the appointment of an SEND Teaching Assistant.
The school wish to appoint a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis (term time only).
This role is a fantastic opportunity to work across multiple classes within the school, supporting pupils following a formal classroom structure through to Sensory based classes, supporting pupils with varying educational needs.

About the Role:

• SEN Teaching Assistant – Secondary (Wolverhampton)
• Full time role (8.15am – 3.20pm)
• Term time only
• 1:1 Pupil support – multi class based
• Working independently and as part of a wider team
• Preparing resources and learning materials
• Creating a nurturing and holistic learning environment

About You:

• Must hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
• Ability to travel to Wolverhampton
• Confident in working independently in a 1:1 role
• Experience of supporting SEN children and young people within the last 2 years
• Be able to provide references covering the last 2 years, including interactions with children and young people
• Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate or willing to apply for a new one through Smile Education
