Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs at Derby Pride Academy in Derby (DE24).

This full-time, term-time position offers a supportive, inclusive environment and a chance to contribute to students’ academic and social development. You will work closely with teachers to deliver differentiated activities, support EHCP goals, manage behaviour, and foster a calm, safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, caring, and resilient approach.

Responsabilités

• Support students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups across the school.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging, differentiated learning activities.
• Support pupils in achieving their individual learning goals and EHCP outcomes.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage social and emotional development.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and promote the welfare of all students.
