Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a Learning Support/Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. You will deliver learning programmes, mentor pupils one-on-one, observe progress and help with behaviour management in collaboration with teaching staff.

You’ll adapt resources for EAL and SEND pupils, promote inclusive practice and contribute to curriculum materials and displays. DBS checks and safeguarding training are implied as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Has experience supporting pupil learning through targeted programmes.
• Demonstrates ability to mentor students one-on-one and run booster sessions.
• Able to observe, record and feedback pupil progress clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver learning programmes and maintain high expectations.
• Mentor pupils 1:1 with booster and intervention sessions.
• Observe, record and feedback pupil performance data.
• Support behaviour management in liaison with the teacher.
• Promote inclusion and collaborative learning.
• Adapt resources for EAL and SEND pupils.
• Assist in creating curriculum delivery materials and displays.
