Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils in schools across Doncaster. This role is suitable for individuals with experience in care, youth work, or education who want to positively influence a child’s educational journey.

Responsibilities include supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other needs, delivering 1:1 or small group interventions, and collaborating with teachers and parents to promote safeguarding and pupil welfare.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children or vulnerable individuals.
  • Safeguarding training or DBS checks required.

Protocol Education is recruiting caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils in schools across Doncaster. Whether you have previous SEN experience or a background in care, support work, youth work, or education, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs

  • Deliver tailored interventions on a 1:1 or small group basis

  • Encourage engagement and participation in lessons

  • Support personal, social, and emotional development

  • Liaise effectively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents where required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
