Vision for Education are recruiting a caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join Chigwell Primary School, part of the REAch2 Academy Trust. You will work with the class teacher, SENCO and school team to provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs and help them access the curriculum with confidence.

You will contribute to a safe, nurturing environment, supporting emotional well-being and independence while building positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Formación

• Experience working with children, preferably with SEN or additional needs.
• Calm, patient and nurturing approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexible and positive attitude.
• Genuine commitment to supporting children's learning and development.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN.
• Support pupils to access the curriculum and engage with learning.
• Help pupils develop confidence, communication and independence.
• Support the implementation of individual learning and support plans.
• Provide emotional and behavioural support as required.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to meet needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Encourage pupils to develop positive attitudes towards learning and school life.
