Job summary

Castle Employment is recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant for Bradford. You will support pupils with additional needs, working one-to-one or in small groups to help them access learning and thrive both academically and socially.

Role involves assisting the class teacher with tailored lessons, promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing, and monitoring pupil progress in welcoming, inclusive schools across the Bradford area.

SEN Teaching Assistant – Bradford

Are you a caring, patient, and dedicated individual looking to support children with additional needs? We are currently recruiting for a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to work in welcoming and inclusive schools across the Bradford area.

The Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning and thrive both academically and socially. You may work on a one-to-one basis or with small groups, providing tailored support in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering adapted lessons
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Monitor and record pupil progress
