Job summary

Engage Education is currently working in partnership with a primary school in Leeds to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant to support learners with ASC.

Starting as soon as possible on a long-term temporary basis, with potential to become permanent, you will work one-to-one and with other support staff, providing feedback to teachers and parents. You will assist pupils with Complex Communication and Autism, SEMH, ADHD and other learning needs.

Engage Education are currently working in partnership with a primary school on an exciting new SEN TA position specifically to support learners with ASC in the Leeds area.

Starting as soon as possible, the school is looking for an outstanding SEN Teaching Assistant to join them on a long term temporary basis. If the role goes well there is the potential for this to turn into a permanent assignment.

Your Role:

• Supporting learners on a one-to-one basis often with complex learning needs
• Working with other support staff to engage pupils in class
• Providing feedback to teachers and parents
• You will be assisting pupils with Complex Communication and Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties and other Learning Disabilities
