Job summary

Supply Desk in Hatfield is seeking a dedicated ASC SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with autism and additional needs starting this September.

You will work one-to-one and in small groups, helping with communication, social, emotional and independence skills, under the guidance of teachers and support staff.

Supply Desk are seeking a professional, passionate, and dedicated ASC SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive specialist school in the Hatfield area, starting this September.

This full-time role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant with experience or a strong interest in supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and a range of additional needs. The successful candidate will be patient, compassionate, and adaptable, with a commitment to creating a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment where every pupil is supported to achieve their individual potential.

You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support, helping pupils to access learning and develop their communication, social, emotional, and independence skills. You will play an important role in supporting pupils throughout the school day, adapting to their individual needs and helping them build confidence and positive relationships.
