Teach Now is looking for an experienced and thoughtful SEN Teaching Assistant (ASD) for a full-time temporary role in Enfield from September 2026.
The successful candidate will understand that autism presents differently in every child. As an SEN Teaching Assistant (ASD), you’ll help pupils access learning, communicate effectively and navigate the school day with greater confidence and independence.
Your responsibilities may include:
Previous experience supporting children or young people with autism is strongly preferred. Knowledge of visual timetables, PECS, Makaton, sensory strategies or other communication approaches would be beneficial. Most importantly, you’ll be patient, observant, consistent and genuinely interested in individualised SEND support.
£90–£100 per day, full-time September work and the opportunity to deepen your ASD and SEND experience in a London school environment.
