The pupil benefits from routine, consistency, clear communication and support with emotional regulation.
The school is looking for someone patient and proactive who can build a positive relationship with the pupil while helping them access learning and participate fully in school life.
Experience using PECS, visual timetables, now-and-next boards, Zones of Regulation, sensory strategies or de‑escalation techniques would be particularly valuable.
This is an inclusive 2-form-entry primary school with a supportive leadership team and established SEN provision.
Teachers and Teaching Assistants work closely together, and you'll receive regular guidance from the class teacher and SENCO rather than being expected to manage the placement alone.
The school is well connected for candidates travelling from Wembley, Willesden, Harlesden, Neasden and Kilburn, with good local bus and rail connections.
