Job summary

Randstad Education in the United Kingdom is seeking a committed, full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN and SEMH needs across the academic year. This role offers Monday to Friday, term-time hours, with a September start, and requires 3–6 months' school-based experience.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of experience in a school setting or with SEN/SEMH needs.
• Experience in care/youth work considered.
• Commitment to supporting pupils' academic and social development.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN/SEMH needs.
• Assist the class teacher with implementing IEPs.
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment.
• Support behaviour management and emotional wellbeing.
• Monitor student progress and report to teaching staff.
