Job summary

Remedy Education seeks a patient and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant for an exciting role in Epping. The school supports primary and secondary pupils with diverse needs and offers a supportive environment focused on pupil wellbeing and development.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, aiding communication, regulation and engagement, with EHCP targets and potential personal care tasks. Start ASAP, long-term with potential permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Willing to support personal care where needed.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes
• Supporting communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning
• Following EHCP targets and individual support plans
• Assisting with personal care where required
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals
• Helping maintain a calm, structured and positive learning environment
• Encouraging independence, confidence and social development
