Job summary

Kings Ash Children's Academy, part of The Thinking Schools Academy Trust, is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant on a fixed-term basis to provide 1:1 learning support under the SENCo and assist the class teacher with tailored lessons and pupil welfare.

Hours are 08:30–15:20, Monday to Friday, with a 20-minute lunch break and ongoing professional development. Role involves promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupils with additional educational needs.

Qualifications

• Experience providing SEN 1:1 support and liaison with SENCo.
• Experience tracking pupil progress and recording interventions.
• Ability to prepare differentiated learning materials and displays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with observation and monitoring of pupil progress.
• Maintain accurate records of interventions and achievements.
• Prepare differentiated learning materials and organise displays.
• Support delivery of engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.
