Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive SEN school in Chelmsford, Essex. You will support pupils with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and complex learning needs across primary and secondary levels.

Role involves 1:1 and small group work, aiding communication, regulation, and engagement, and following personalised plans. A patient, calm, and resilient approach is essential, with enhanced DBS preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Willing to obtain Enhanced DBS and work across primary and secondary age groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes.
• Support communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning.
• Follow EHCP targets and individual support plans.
• Assist with personal care where required.
