Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in London seeks enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants for Newham, starting September 2026. Roles include Higher Level Teaching Assistants, SEN Teaching Assistants and 1:1 Learning Support Assistants within a vibrant London Borough school.

You will cover classes, assist planning and assessment, deliver interventions, and support pupils with SEN in a collaborative team environment. Term-time options and ongoing CPD are available.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEN (at least 1 year).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Confident leading groups and working collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Support learning activities across the school including whole class cover when required.
• Support teachers in planning, preparation and assessment.
• Deliver Target Interventions to help pupils progress.
• Work closely with children of varying abilities including those with SEN.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment.
• Support students on a 1:1 basis.
